Pat Gottfried is an effective leader with extensive experience in strategic and operational planning and implementation, leadership development, corporate and community relations, board governance, fiscal management, fund development and grants and volunteer management.     

Pat’s previous roles include leadership positions with Apollo Education Group, Special Olympics North America, Arthritis Foundation-Rocky Mountain Chapter and the National Credit Union Foundation. 

An executive level job overseeing the $21M national giving portfolio for Apollo Education Group brought Pat to Phoenix in 2009. Under Pat’s leadership Apollo Education Group was named one of America’s most community-minded companies in The Civic 50, an annual initiative that identifies and recognizes companies for their commitment to improve the quality of life in the communities where they do business. In addition, Pat developed Apollo Education Group’s Women’s Leadership Initiative-an initiative dedicated to developing diverse, talented and capable leaders through group learning on theory, strategic projects and mentoring.

Today Pat puts her leadership and facilitation skills to work as a consultant for both the corporate and non-profit sectors working in tandem with boards and executive staff on key capacity building initiatives.
